Jerry Wayne Curvey, MBA, is the Executive Director and Founder of Valor Shield Inc., a dedicated nonprofit committed to supporting disadvantaged veterans and their families. A veteran himself, having served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force and the Texas Air National Guard, Jerry’s leadership is defined by a deep empathy for those who have worn the uniform. He leads the organization with a clear mission: to ensure that no veteran or family member has to face the effects of military service alone.

Under his leadership, Valor Shield supports disadvantaged veterans affected by trauma by providing vital resources, compassionate programs, and a strong sense of community. Jerry’s commitment and leadership continue to drive meaningful change, helping veterans and their families rebuild their lives with dignity, strength, and hope.
Vision & Impact
Jerry believes that "valor" is not just a trait displayed on the battlefield, but also the courage it takes to seek help and rebuild a life. By bridging the gap between clinical needs and community support, he has positioned Valor Shield Inc. as a sanctuary for those who might otherwise fall through the cracks of the system.
